Hello everyone!
I am currently looking for participants who meet the following criteria to study the impact of acculturation process on gender role beliefs and overall relationship satisfaction within Korean dyad intimate relationships.
Criteria:
• Between the ages of 18 and 65 years old who identify as Korean
• Currently in a romantic relationship (dating or married) for at least 6 months with a Korean partner
• Currently reside in the United States (for both self and the partner)
I hope to use the results of this study to develop clinical implications for practice within the marriage and family therapy field and add to the literature regarding the Korean American couples’ experience. Your feedback will contribute to the literature regarding the Korean-American dyad intimate relationship dynamics and experiences and further help clinicians to develop effective treatment models specifically designed for this population. The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete and can be accessed using the link below! Participation is completely voluntary and appreciated. If you have any questions, feel free to contact my thesis chair, Dr. Anne Edwards, at 219-989-2384 or abedward@pnw.edu. If you know of anyone else who may be interested and eligible to participate in the study, please distribute the information and link! Your help is appreciated!
