Summary: Under general direction, performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties and performs specific duties related to Quality Control on the production floor to provide quality assurance on production lines.
Essential Job Functions: Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include any of the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. The list that follows is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.
• Help/assist supervisors and managers as needed
• Supervise Team Members, Liaisons, and Supervisors
• Evaluate production samples for conformance to customer’s specifications
• Assist in development of Standard Operating Procedures in the plant
• Work with production to solve customer/product issues as necessary
• Leads and assists in investigations for product complaints
• Develop countermeasures to prevent nonconformance issues
• Create, organize and maintain QC/QA documentation
• Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the processes and process changes
• Organize and coordinate Team members/Liaisons at Customer Sites
• Must comply with all Dongwon safety regulations; Wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. gloves, sleeves, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs.)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
• No experience required
• Knowledge of inspection procedures and critical areas
• Knowledge of part dimension specifications and measuring techniques
• Knowledge of possible defects on our products
• Knowledge of all product processes
• Knowledge of Dongwon & KMMG’s policies and procedures
• Skill with Microsoft office programs (Excel, Powerpoint, Word.)
• Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks and demands
• Skill in working within deadlines to complete assignments
• Skill in identifying and recommending solutions to problems
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with co-workers
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Bilingual a plus (Korean/English)

• Millimeter Rulers
• Taper Gauges
• Flush Gauges
• Rubber Hammers
• Screwdrivers
• Computers – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Email.
• Active Listener – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking appropriate questions and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

• Reading Comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
