안녕하세요!
심리상담사 Elly Chung(앨리 정) 입니다. 저는 뉴욕과 메사추세츠에서 교육과 임상경험을 쌓고 이제 조지아로 이주하여 이곳의 한인 분들의 심리상담을 시작하게 되었습니다. 오랜 이민생활 혹은 이곳에서 태어났지만 자신의 뿌리와 두 문화 사이에서 힘들어하는 분들, 이유 없이 힘들어 막막하신 분들의 고충을 듣고 같이 나아갈 방향을 고민하고 상담해드립니다. 조현병이나 양극성 장애(aka 조울증) 같은 심각한 정신질환부터 우울이나 공황장애같은 일상에서 흔히
겪을수 있는 질환까지 폭 넓게 상담 가능합니다. 인간관계의 어려움,결혼생활의 문제 등 다양한 삶의 문제들도 같이 고민해 드립니다.
I am a licensed master social worker(LMSW) with specialized training in mental health. I have various experiences as a clinician working with people with serious mental illness(SMI) to Co-occurring disorders. I also have experience with people with mood disorders and personality disorders. My clinical and research interests are 1) how culture plays a role
in one’s life, 2) how to reconstruct relationships through reconstructing one’s unresolved trauma, and 3) strengthen one’s resilience to cope with life difficulties.

● Complicated trauma
