About Soban Restaurant

Hello
I am Korean American, resides in Lawrenceville, GA
I decided to write this post/ review because I do not want other customers to be disappointed while they decide to visit this restaurant.
Recently my wife and I invited my 2 other friends and their spouses to the newly opened Soban restaurant near the Mega Mart.
Since I was the host, I had an honor to choose what to eat for our parties.
We ordered Braised Beef Back Ribs, Steamed Monkfish and Braised Cutlassfish, Seafood for six of us.
When the food came to the table, I was very, very disappointed, rather embarrassed because the food was totally different from the advertisement that was aired in youtube (Youtube Name: off the grid with press lee). If you watch their clips, they always, always say the food is wonderful wherever they were to visit or invited Obviously two of them were misleading people and they need to stop doing that.
The braised Back Ribs were dried from precooking and had very small amount of meat on the tip of the bones. As the dish arrived, the female server started cutting meat off the rib bone.... No, that was not the way people enjoy it.... I am guessing that there was almost little meat on the bone, that is why the server started cutting the meat off from the bone and she took the bones away. That dish was $44.99
The dish of Monkfish was 95 percent Soy bean sprouts and 8 small cubes of meat. I was looking for the fish meat, rummaging around the Sprouts but there were only a few pieces. I felt so disappointed.
That dish costs $44.99
And finally Cutlassfish and Seafood came to the table.
The main fish was hiding on the bottom of the pan and it was the skinny fish.... The octopus was small and again, there were some soy bean sprouts. So, all of the dishes have a significant amount of soy bean sprouts. This dish costs $75.99
I am not sure that using two portable stoves for heating food on the table is a violation of fire department code
Anyway,
This is not acceptable for customers who want to enjoy real Korean food and especially trying to spread how awesome K-Food culture is for the other people.
Overall,
We spent $211 (including 20 percent of tip) for very dissatisfied dinner.
