안녕하세요!
Gwinnett Math Club은 Gwinnett County의 고등학생과 중학생을 대상으로 여러 세미나와 대회를 통해 수학의 resources 지원하는 Club입니다. 현재 Gwinnett County에 있는 6개의 고등학교 math club president 들이 officer로 구성 되어 있습니다. (GSMST, North Gwinnett, Peachtree Ridge, Seckinger, Grayson, Mill Creek)
저희는 학생들이 수학을 더 쉽게 접근하고 즐겁게 배울 수 있도록 여러 세미나와 대회 훈련을 통해 도움을 줄 것입니다. 또한, 앞으로 수학을 전공하려는 학생들을 위해 수학의 전문 분야를 탐구하는 세미나도 제공하고 있습니다.
이번 주 토요일 10월 26일에는 Georgia Tech에서 수학을 전공하고 있는 Ray Kwak 학생이 수학 전공에 대한 세미나를 진행할 예정입니다. 수학 전공자가 공부하는 과목들, 학문의 다양한 분야, 그리고 수학 research에 대한 정보 또한 공유할 예정입니다. 또한, 대학 준비를 위한 팁도 알려드릴 것입니다. 세미나 후반에는 Q&A 시간도 마련되어 있습니다.
수학 공부에 관심이 있거나 Georgia Tech 입학을 고려 중인 모든 학생들이 참여하기를 권장합니다.

Hello!
Gwinnett Math Club is an organization dedicated to supporting Math Teams across Gwinnett County by providing resources, seminars, and competitions for high school and middle school students. The presidents of the Math Teams of 6 high schools in Gwinnett County (GSMST, North Gwinnett, Peachtree Ridge, Seckinger, Grayson, Mill Creek) make up the officer board.
Our mission is to make mathematics more accessible and enjoyable for a wider range of students through seminars and competition training. We’re also excited to offer special seminars that explore math at the professional level, designed for those interested in pursuing mathematics in the future.
On October 26th, Ray Kwak, a current Mathematics student at Georgia Tech, will be leading a seminar on what it's like to major in Math at Georgia Tech. He’ll be sharing insights about the courses, branches of study, and research opportunities available to Math students, as well as tips on preparing for college, advice on what to do, and common mistakes to avoid. There will also be a dedicated Q&A session at the end for students to ask any questions they may have.
We highly encourage all students who are considering studying Math or attending Georgia Tech to join this session, as it will offer valuable insights into both the academic experience and how to navigate high school and college successfully.
