안녕하세요.
저희는 GJH Ministry, Georgia State 캠퍼스 학생모임입니다.
조지아 스테잇 캠퍼스에서 매주 화요일 저녁 7시 15분에 크리스챤모임을 갖습니다.
함께 모여서 성경을 읽고 기도하며 믿음을 나누는 모임입니다.
현재 만나고 있는 장소는 GA State Student Center, bookstore앞 Cafeteria입니다.

Who We Are
FOC @ GSU is a branch ministry from GJH Ministry in Duluth, GA.
Our mission is to fulfill the The Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are to serve the community of GSU and around it to lead and guide people to find their identities and God-given purpose so that they may be
driven to live a life filled with the true purpose that will last for eternity
Why God?
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)
As many of us all know we all have heard that God created heavens and the earth and also us, by starting from Adam and Eve. Then it is rightful path for us to go back to our creator who created us. In our creator, we can find unshakable identity of who we are which would determine our own view of our selves and our purpose in this life.
“… for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)
We all have sinned against God. Contrary to what we think and know, the original sin is only the action but according the verse, it is the state falling short of the glory of God. Adam and Eve fell short of glory of God and all the mankind after them were born in that state, the state of sin.
“and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:24)
God presented Jesus to us so that we can be justified in Him so he can bring us back to the glory of our God. Jesus Christ became “The way, the truth & the life” in which we can return to God as we were separated by the original sin.

예수섬김 작성일좀 더 구체적인 내용을 수정해서 올렸습니다. 감사합니다.<br /><br />GJH Ministry는 테네시주 멤피스에 본부를 둔 컴벌랜드 장로교단 소속입니다. 컴벌랜드 장로교단은 1800년도에 있었던 영적 대각성을 시작으로 1810년 2월 4일 공식적으로 시작된 200년 가량의 역사를 갖고 있는 교단입니다. 장로교단으로써 말씀을 기반으로 또한 성령의 역사하심도 함께 인정하면서 사역을 감당하는 교단입니다. 행위가 아닌 믿음으로만 구원을 받을 수 있음을 지키고 있으며 오직 예수그리스만이 구주되심을 고백하는 교단입니다.<br /><br />이에 속한 GJH Ministry의 이름은 God (G), Jesus (J), Holy Spirit (H) 삼위일체 하나님을 뜻하는 이름을 갖고 있는 사역단체입니다. 하나님이 주시는 사명을 (God) 예수님의 사랑과 그 이름의 능력으로 (Jesus) 성령의 인도하심을 통해 (Holy Spirit) 순종하는 사역입니다. <br /><br />예수섬김교회라는 교회명으로 매주 주일 함께 예배하고 있습니다. UGA에서는 지난 6월부터 그리고 조지아 스테이트는 이번 8월부터 모임을 갖고 캠퍼스 사역을 시작하고 진행하고 있습니다.<br /><br />GJH Ministry는 단순히 모임에만 집중하는 것이 아닌 각 사람이 삶 속에서까지 믿음의 삶을 이어갈 수 있도록 돕고 고민하고 기도하고 있습니다. 캠퍼스 사역도 그 일부분의 하나로 대학생들이 하나님을 온전히 알고 미래와 삶의 목적에 대해서 올바로 바라보고 고민할 수 있도록 돕기 위함입니다. 궁금하셨던 부분에 대해서 답변이 되었으면 좋겠습니다.<br /><br />"예수 안에서 요람에서 무덤까지"<br />God Bless GSU

gomdori 작성일Is it true that Cumberland Presbyterian churches are affiliated with the WCC, which is the purpose of the Ecumenical Movement ? (Catholics' scheme to rule over all the churches)

예수섬김 작성일Cumberland Presbyterian Church is not affiliated with the WCC. In its history, it was once with PCUSA in early 1800s but split from PCUSA on differences and formerly organized to be CPC in 1804. They re-merged in 1900s but part of the CPC remained intact from PCUSA. The CPC or Cumberland Presbyterian Church that we know today is the part of CPC that remained intact from PCUSA. In conclusion, the CPC denomination has no relationship to PCUSA or WCC in any way. To add on, WCC was organized in 1910, which was a century after the CPC's split from PCUSA.
