We are looking for a kind, patient, and encouraging mentor to spend time with our 18-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum. He is graduating high school and is a bright, respectful young man who would benefit from building more confidence and comfort in social situations and everyday interactions.

We are NOT looking for formal therapy or a clinical environment. Instead, we are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys helping others grow — someone who can be a positive role model, mentor, and social companion.

The goal is to help him build confidence, communication skills, independence, and real-world social experience in a relaxed and natural setting.

Activities may include:
• Casual conversations
• Going out for coffee or meals
• Community outings or fun activities
• Practicing everyday social situations
• Encouraging confidence and independence
• Introducing hobbies, interests, or social activities

We think this could be a great fit for:
• College students studying psychology, education, counseling, therapy, social work, etc.
• Someone passionate about autism or helping young adults
• A patient and socially positive person who enjoys mentoring others

Experience with autism is appreciated but not required. Personality, patience, and genuine care are much more important to us.

Flexible schedule — ideally a couple times per week.

Volunteer or paid opportunity depending on experience and availability.

Location: Suwanee area
