Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Co-Founders, the program manager is responsible for:
Developing and implementing work, play and belong programs that align with the organization’s mission and various abilities of our members (i.e. developing marketable products that can be made by our members and providing training for our members)
Communicating and coordinating with families and caregivers regarding the programs, schedule changes and fees
Planning and coordinating with contractors, instructors, volunteers and families to ensure adequate preparation and support
Purchasing program and event materials based on the budget
Evaluating program results with Co-Founders and making modifications as necessary
Recruiting, staffing and supervising student interns and volunteers
Managing social media to ensure timely updates and provide visually attractive, positive and encouraging content
Increasing revenue through marketing work and play programs
Assisting with administrative duties such as invoicing, voucher requests and notes
Networking and planning special events with other organizations, businesses and churches as a representative of TSC in the community
Identifying grant opportunities appropriate for programs and developing a budget and proposal
Other special projects and daily priorities as needed
Requirements
Genuine and caring heart with ability to actively engage and assist our members
Planning, organization, project management skills, detail-oriented, deadline sensitive
Flexibility, adaptability, positivity, patience and willingness to try new things
Cooperative and collaborative (team-oriented)
Willing to flexible hours as necessary
Social media working knowledge of facebook, instagram, twitter and youtube. Also working knowledge of MS Office, database management and Google Workspace
Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in Korean a plus
