Job description
We are seeking a Forwarding/COMAT Agent at Hanjin Intermodal America, Inc at Duluth, Georgia.

Responsibilities:

· Handling of inbound shipment

Monitoring custom clearance
Generating BOL
Data entry
Labeling and lifting involved
· Handling of outbound shipment

Receiving of shipment – lifting involved
Stripping boxes for necessary documents
System entry – customs
Generating export document
Data entry
Labeling and lifting involved
· Communication with vendors and customer

Contacting vendors for necessary information
Emailing vendors and customer for necessary information and updates
· Irregularities

- Price quotations

Assistance with irregular inbound shipment
Assistance with irregular outbound shipment
Scheduling pickup and delivery
Repackaging damaged shipment
Re-crating damaged crates
Consolidation of multiple shipment – shrinkwrapping
Requirements:

No COMAT Agent experience necessary, in-training provided
Ability to lift up to 25lbs
Proficiency in utilizing computers, such as Microsoft office
An individual must go through criminal background check to obtain an airport badge
Must be able to renew airport badge on annual basis
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
