Position: QUALITY SYSTEM DEVELOPER
Location: COVINGTON, GA
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for developing the Quality Strategy, policies, processes, standards, and systems for the Company.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop quality work standards and quality framework system
• Manage, coach, and develop a high performing Quality System team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results
• Set department objectives and review and assess ongoing performance and direct reports
• Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally to the Company, in relation to Quality matters
• Perform auditing to ensure compliance with customers, suppliers, and internal standards
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice in the following processes:
o APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
o PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
o FMEA-CP (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis – Control Plan)
o MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
o CCB (Change Control Board)
o MRB (Material Review Board)
o OCAP (Out of Control Action Plan)
o NC (Non-Conformance)
o NC-CAPA (Non-conformance Corrective and Preventive Action)
REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent leadership and man-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
QUALITIFICATIONS:
• Competent in problem solving, team building, planning, and decision making
• Training or certification in Quality (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
• Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality
EDUCATION:
• Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 8-year experience in Quality related area
