Ophthalmology practice in Roswell and Cumming GA is seeking a bi-lingual Korean/English speaking skilled technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various areas of ophthalmology tech duties, bi-lingual Korean/English and a strong focus on customer service.
Responsibilities:
-Perform various tasks as required to workup complete eye exams and eye disease patients. Manual refractions, Fundus photos, apllanation, dilate pateint, assist with minor procedures in office.
- Assist with interpretation for Korean speaking patients.
- Assist with administrative work for scheduling Korean patients for cataract surgery.
- Must be able to travel between Roswell and Cumming office.
Requirements:
- Ability to manually refract, take Fundus photos, apllanate, dilate patients, perform OCT, visual field testing and assist with minor procedures in office.
- Fluent in Korean and English, written and spoken.
Positon could transition to full time at some point in the future.
Ideal candidate: Experienced ophthalmology tech or optometry tech or experienced medical assist wanting to transition to ophthalmology specialty.
*We are also willing to train a highly motivated bilingual individual who may not have ophthalmology experience but desires to work in the field.
Hours are 7:30am- 4:30pm Monday thru Friday. For part-time position, days may vary.
ONLY BI-LINGUAL KOREAN/ENGLISH CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED.
