Contract Period : 1yr + Extension
Work Address : 3464 Old dixie hwy SE, Dalton, GA
Work Hours: 8:30~17:30
Pay Rate: $25/hours + (depends on experience)

Job Function/Description:

Essentials Functions:
• Manage and oversee inventory control, inbound and outbound handling, loading and unloading plans, labor expenses, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate the movement of inventory by scheduling materials to and from the warehouse, ensuring smooth transfers with related departments. Conduct monthly physical inventory counts, reconcile variances, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity, determining staffing levels and workload assignments to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure team compliance with food safety, security, and health protocols and procedures. Conduct daily inspections of the warehouse grounds to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective employee management, dispatching, receiving, and quality assurance.
• Oversee inventory receiving, warehousing, and fulfillment operations to meet customer demands.
• Create and maintain efficient operational and personnel policies and procedures.
• Act as a liaison between office staff, dock staff, upper management, drivers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Schedule employees according to staffing needs, allocate workload fairly, and measure and address employee performance and warehouse activities. Address disciplinary issues, attendance, and performance.
• Take responsibility for maintaining accurate physical inventory records and initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain warehouse-related logs and produce reports, including End of Month, Daily Receipt, and Pallet reports.
• Supervise the warehouse environment, conduct regular walk-throughs, document and resolve physical hazards and logistical issues.
• Oversee warehouse employees, including training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions, while adhering to company and HR policies.
• Ensure the proper maintenance of warehouse equipment, parts, and supplies. Enforce operating instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns, and arrange for repairs.
• Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews. Maintain financial standards by providing annual budget information and monitoring expenditures.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) for managing inbound and outbound loads, transload operations, invoicing, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management.
• Collaborate with plant shipping departments to establish daily, weekly, and monthly load plans.
• Lead inventory planning efforts by analyzing data, assessing performance, and implementing improvements to achieve organizational objectives.
• Accomplish the warehouse and organizational mission by fulfilling related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 5+ years of working experience in 3PL/Plant warehousing operation or similar function
• Ability to work onsite – this is an Essential Worker position
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects, while paying close attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Great interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate openly and effectively
• Works well under pressure and has a sense of urgency
• Strong work ethic
