Position Summary

HR Generalist는 핵심 HR 기능을 지원하는 중요한 역할을 수행하며, 특히 CDL 드라이버 채용 및 드라이버 급여 처리(Payroll) 업무에 중점을 둡니다. 본 포지션은 드라이버의 **채용 전 과정(End-to-End Hiring Process)**을 관리하고, DOT 규정 준수를 위한 서류 관리, 그리고 드라이버 인력에 대한 정확하고 적시에 이루어지는 급여 운영을 담당합니다. 이 역할은 세부사항에 강하고 정리 능력이 뛰어난 분, 원활한 커뮤니케이션 스킬을 갖춘 분, 그리고 운송 업계 특성상 물량이 많은(high-volume) 환경에서도 잘 적응하고 성과를 낼 수 있는 분에게 적합합니다.

Key Responsibilities

1)Driver/Office Staffs Recruitment & Onboarding

a.CDL 드라이버의 채용 전 과정을 lead (채용 공고 게시, 서류/지원자 검토, 인터뷰, 백그라운드 체크, 오퍼 발행 등)

b.드라이버 온보딩을 진행하고, 입사 서류 완료 및 I-9 확인, DQ file (Driver Qualification File) 세팅을 포함한 입사 절차를 관리

c.드라이버 자격 및 온보딩 관련 DOT 규정에 대한 최신 정보 유지

d.운영팀 및 타 부서와 협엽하여 채용 수요를 예측하고 드라이버 인력 수준을 적절히 관리

2)Payroll Administration

a.드라이버 Weekly Payroll (근무시간, 마일리지 기록, Per diem 청구, 공제 및 환급 항목 검토)

b.금여 오류/불일치 사항을 해결하고, 직원 문의 대응 및 급여 관련 정보의 기밀 유지

c.HRIS 및 직원 기록을 정확히 유지 및 관리

d.급여, 복리후생 등록 및 보험/정책 갱신 업부 지원

3)Employee Relations & Compliance

a.회사 정책에 따른 investigation 진행 및 징계 프로세스 운영

b.직원들과의 원활한 소통 유지 및 참여/조직 문화 프로그램 운영

4)HR Operations & Compliance

a.DQ file 밒 HR 기록을 관리/감사 하여 DOT, FMCSA, 주/연방 노동법에 대한 지속적인 준수 보장

b.드라이버 및 office employees 대상 복리후생 등록, 클레임 지원

c.직원 관계 이슈를 처리하고 드라이버 HR 관련 문의의 1차 대응 창구 역할 수행

d.Employment Verification 또는 컴플라이언스 감사 등 외부 요청에 대응 하고 주/연방 기관과의 협업 및 조율 진행

e.HR 팀의 기타 행정 및 정책 관련 업무를 지원하며 부서 간 협업 수행

Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted).

•3+ years of HR experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, or high-volume staffing environments.

•Prior experience handling CDL driver hiring and/or DOT-regulated documentation is strongly preferred.

•Knowledge of driver compensation models (hourly, mileage-based, per load, per diem).

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP).

•Strong organizational and communication skills; bilingual (English/Korean or English/Spanish) is a plus.

•Experience with transportation, logistics, or union/non-union labor environments is a plus.

•Strong proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems.

•Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and compensation best practices.

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

•Bilingual English/Korean is preferred but not required.

Work Schedule and Location

•Standard workweek: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

•Occasional travel to branch offices (Mobile, AL / Savannah, GA / Oakland, CA) may be required.
