We’re growing quickly and looking for a driven, detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team and focus on delivering exceptional tax services.
Duties
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and non-profit organizations.
- Utilize various accounting software such as QuickBooks for financial statement preparation and account reconciliation.
- Analyze financial reports to interpret data and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with clients to develop financial plans that align with their goals while adhering to securities law regulations.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting tasks to support accurate financial reporting.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and financial concepts that may impact clients.
- Conduct thorough tax research and provide strategic recommendations to clients
- Handle complex tax situations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted tax advisor
Requirements
- Active CPA license (or in final stages of obtaining)
- 3+ years of recent experience in tax preparation and planning (public accounting preferred)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax codes
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Biligual (Korean/English) - preferred
