About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, experienced Spotter who is comfortable working the front counter and supporting daily operations of a busy dry cleaning plant. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who understands garment care, customer service, and daily production flow.
Key Responsibilities
Spotting & Production
- Pre-spot and post-spot garments using proper techniques and chemicals
- Identify stains, fabric types, and care requirements
- Ensure high-quality standards before garments move through production
- Communicate issues or special handling notes clearly to the team
Counter & Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers professionally
- Tag, check in, and check out garments accurately
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house
Operations Support
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Help support workflow, production timing, and garment quality
- Support staff training and daily procedures
- Serve as point of contact when a supervisor is not available
- Monitor supplies and notify management when reordering is needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a spotter in a dry cleaning environment is required
- Comfortable working both production and front counter
- Strong attention to detail and garment quality
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable taking initiative in daily operations
