Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible individual to support laboratory testing activities for flooring products. This role involves preparing test samples, performing standardized tests, recording measurements, and maintaining laboratory equipment and workspace conditions. Candidates with a background or interest in engineering, materials science, or quality control are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

1. Laboratory Testing

·         Perform standardized quality control tests such as Curling and Dimensional Stability (D.S.) tests on flooring materials.

·         Operate test equipment including ovens, measuring devices, and gauges in compliance with written procedures.

2. Sample Preparation

·         Receive product samples from the warehouse and cut them to specified dimensions.

·         Condition specimens under controlled temperature and humidity before testing.

3. Measurement and Data Entry

·         Measure physical changes in samples before and after testing.

·         Accurately input measurement data into Excel-based reporting formats, ensuring traceability and compliance with documentation standards.

4. Lab Maintenance and Equipment Handling

·         Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace.

·         Ensure proper handling, usage, and storage of testing instruments and samples.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other common computer applications.

·         Ability to read and follow technical procedures in English.

·         Physical ability to perform tasks such as cutting samples and lifting up to 25 lbs.

·         Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and consistency in data handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

·         Prior experience in laboratory testing, product inspection, or quality control is a plus.

·         Korean language ability is an advantage but not required.

Working Conditions

·         Desk and computer work accounts for approximately 2/3 of work time.

·         Occasional physical work including lifting samples up to 25 lbs.

·         Regular and punctual attendance is required.

·         Local travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
