Full job description

The Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all manufacturing systems and equipment. This includes mechanical, electrical, and module rebuilding maintenance work in a manufacturing or industrial environment of manufacturing in battery for automotive vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to equipment systems maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and safe manner.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to detect and resolve issues before breakdowns occur (Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance)
• The systems in equipment upgrades and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and environmental regulations.
• Work closely with contractors, and other departments as needed.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or Bachelor required; engineering, vocational or technical school certification preferred.
• Minimum 0-2 years of experience in equipment maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with or licensure in mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, PLCs, and electrical work is considered a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient with hand and power tools, meters, and testing instruments.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts as needed.
• Bilingual Korean and English speaking.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift module 30 lbs. regularly and perform physical tasks such as kneeling and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments with noise or clean room temperatures.

Work Environment:

• Industrial or manufacturing facility.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and confined spaces.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• Day shift (6am-6pm, including lunch time 2hr, working 10hr a day)
• Working: 6 days a week
