Air Freight Forwarding Specialist
Location: Duluth, GA
Working Hour: 8:30- 5:30pm
Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and deliver daily shipments to exceed our customers’ expectations.
• Communicate with CFS warehouse team, customs brokerage, and trucking companies to ensure orders are picked-up, loaded and shipped in an accurate and timely manner for each customers.
• Coordinate with airlines and other vendors (trucking companies) to ensure the smooth operation.
• Generate billing invoice using FNS system and send AR invoices to customers.
• Manage monthly AP invoices from the vendors to coordinate payments with accounting team before the due dates.
• Work well with computers; fast typing skills as well as basic knowledge on MS Office Excel
• Develop and implement operational procedures and policies for Air Import, Air Export, Express, and CFS tasks
• Excellent interpersonal communication ability and leadership to manage the team
• Capacity to oversee budgeting, profit reporting, and planning
• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
• Recognize and remit problems and opportunities for the team
• Support and maintain great relationships with partners and customers
Qualifications
• Must be able to legally work in the US
• Graduated from logistics related major is a plus
• Fluent English, able to communicate in a flexible manner to ensure understanding across all levels of organization
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word)
• Ability to respond to inquiries from other departments/branches/ partners/customers
• Has logistics agency/customer network is a plus
• Able to analyze extensive and complex ranges of data, information, processes system solutions to efficient business solutions is a plus
• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions is a plus
• Able to work as a team
