SK shieldus America is looking to welcome a Human Resources Coordinator to our team. This individual would oversee all Human Resource functions such as onboarding, terminations, employee benefits. Our Human Resource Coordinator will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including, benefits, leave, unemployment notifications, verifications of employment, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
• Full cycle recruitment responsible for head office and support positions
• Conduct intake meetings, determine appropriate recruiting strategies, set realistic timetables and expectations, and responsible for hiring to ensure
positions are filled quickly and efficiently.
• Monitors and evaluates the completion of the background check reports and Drug screening tests
• Track new hire inventory for onboarding
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technology in human resources, benefits and compliance with federal,
state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
• Communicates with employees regarding their needs. Ensures that employees are aware of their responsibilities and of any documentation and
notice required to qualify for and to take leave.
• Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident, and any claims.
• Scan and maintain all employee documents
• Respond and assist in the implementation of company policies and guidelines
• Assist with various HR, Payroll and/or benefit issues as requested/required
• Assist and/or create various reports as requested by Company Management
• All other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, human resources, or related field
• Minimum 1~3 years of experience in Human Resources Experience supporting HR
Other Skills and Abilities
• Strong administration skills
• Strong customer service (internal and external) skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
