안녕하세요, 제 이름은 Sophie Moon 입니다. 저는 UC Irvine 에서 생물학과 전공으로 졸업했습니다.

치대입학을 준비하려고 캘리포니아에서 본가로 잠깐 돌아왔습니다.
저는 가르치는것을 너무 좋아하고, 열정적인 마인드로 학생들을 돕고 싶어서, 입학준비를 하면서 과외 수업을 하는중입니다.
과외경력은 5년이상으로, 생물학, 영어 (Writing), 수학을 집중적으로 가르쳤습니다.
코로나 시기에는 개인 1대1 온라인 수업을 했고, 캘리포니아 얼바인 JEI 학원에서 단체수업 1대4로 가르친 경력이 있습니다. 개인과외 In-person 수업은 대학부터 꾸준히 오랫동안 해왔습니다. 작년 2024 여름에는 Prestige 어학원에서 중등부 수학강의를 했습니다.
Kinder 부터 10학년 학생들, 어른 ESL 수업도 경험있습니다.

특히 영어는 ESL 학생들도 많이 가르친 경험이있기에, 기초부터 Speaking 하고 Listening 집중적으로 도와드릴수있습니다.

그외에 학생들이 학교에서 필요한 과목들 e.g. Social Studies, Essay Writing 부터 등등 더 효율적으로 공부하는 방법과 뚜렷한 목표를 일찍부터 세우는 Plan. 중, 고둥학생들을 많이 도와드리고있습니다.

수업진행은 1대1 맞춤형으로 학교수업 *선행학습*, 숙제 도움, 학교 과제 도움, 등 상담후 학생에 맞춰 레슨플랜이 진행됩니다.

저는 영어와 한국어 둘다 능숙한 편인데, 영어가 더 편해요! 수업은 대부분 영어로 진행됩니다.

위치는 Johns Creek//Suwanee 입니다. 가까운 위치는 In-person 수업 가능하구요, Online 수업도 진행하고 있습니다 (Zoom).

Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Sophie Moon, and I graduated from UC Irvine with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences. I'm currently back home in Georgia in my gap years preparing for dental school. I want to be able to share my passion for teaching and help students during my available times. I have over 5 years experience with tutoring - 2+ years teaching online classes (private 1-on-1 lessons), 1+ year working at a tutoring center (JEI) in Irvine, CA. (group lessons), and 2+ years in private in-person lessons. My students' age ranges from Kindergarten to 10th grade. I also have a lot of experience with ESL students.
