As we expand our SBA lending operations, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SBA Loan Closer to join our team.

Position Summary - SBA Loan Closer: 

The SBA Loan Closer is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalizing loan closing documentation for Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. This role ensures full compliance with SBA guidelines, internal policies, and applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SBA 7(a) and 504 loan programs and a proven track record in commercial loan closings. 

Key Responsibilities to include: 

• Review and prepare SBA loan closing documents.
• Ensure all closing conditions are met according to SBA guidelines and internal credit policy.
• Coordinate with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation such as UCC filings, insurance certificates, appraisals, and environmental reports are obtained and compliant.
• Manage funding process, including disbursement instructions and wire transfers.
• Upload required documents into SBA's E-Tran system.
• Maintain compliance with SBA SOPs.
• Support post-closing documentation and audits.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Loan Processor or similar role.
• Knowledge of SBA loan programs and SBA SOPs.
• Experience with commercial loan documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of transactions.
• Proficiency in loan servicing software and MS Office.
• Familiarity with legal documents (promissory notes, guarantees, security agreements).
• Good multitasking abilities with outstanding time management skills.
• Bilingual in Chinese, Vietnamese or Korean preferred.
