HIRING: FULL TIME/PART TIME

We are currently looking for a Full time/Part time bilingual (Korean/English) Korean Medical Interpreter for our busy orthopedic practice. 

Certification and previous experience is preferred but not a requirement. We are willing to train the right candidate!

We have three offices located in Duluth, Buford, and Cumming. Some traveling between offices will be required. We are open Monday thru Thursday 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-1pm.

POSSIBLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Greeting and checking in Korean patients and helping with translation of new patient paperwork
- Assisting Korean patients with follow-up care plans, including creation of future appointments, imaging/lab orders, patient education, referrals, and more
- Communicating with incoming and outgoing referral sources to coordinate patient care and physician orders
- Answering, documenting, and returning patient phone calls, voicemails, and e-mails
- Documentation in EMR (eClinicalWorks) of patient demographics, history, and diagnostic imaging performed
- Assistance within clinic rooming patients, obtaining histories, and helping the clinical medical assistant/physician as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluent in both Korean and English
- Basic understanding of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology (or willingness to learn as it applies to the position)
- Proficiency with computer and technology-based work
- Ability to self-manage as it pertains to efficiency with patient coordination and office tasks
- Ability to work in a clinical setting requiring standing and sitting for periods of time, with some bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50lbs
- Experience with other various clinical tasks and duties preferred but not necessary
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or other EMR platforms preferred but not necessary
- 1+ years of medical office experience (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Covid vaccination (required)
- Applicant must take and pass an employer-paid drug screen and background check prior to beginning position.
