SK shieldus America is hiring a dependable Purchasing/Administrative Assistant to assist in managing the day-to-day operations. The goal is to support the company leadership in their daily tasks and projects.
Responsibilities
*Responsible for handling a wide range of administrative tasks and support.
*Organize all procurement activities relating to request for proposals, bids, and price quotes.
*Assisting Procurement Department for replacement part ordering, part identification, and verification to include order entry; recognition and processing of
new client accounts; verification of part pricing with domestic and international offices; notification of back-ordered parts
*Correspond with vendors regarding prices, product availability, warranty and delivery.
*Creates purchase orders and submits to management for approval and share with vendors. Processing purchase orders for maintaining adequate
inventory levels on all parts and materials and project completion.
*Follow up with suppliers on open purchase orders to insure timely delivery and responds to inquiries regarding delivery status for upper management.
*Work with shipping and customs clearance of all incoming international shipments.
*Determine appropriate recruiting strategies and responsible for hiring to ensure positions are filled quickly and efficiently and handles employment-related
inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
*Communicates with employees regarding their needs and coordinate daily benefits processing.
*Manage subcontractors for Man Guard Security Service and handle general tasks including contract, invoice, customer service related to guard security
service projects.
*Respond and assist in the implementation of company policies and guidelines
*Prioritize and handle multiple assignments including interpretation/translation at any given time.
*Performs advanced administrative support for office, executive level managers and president.
*Occasional travel may be required
*All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Native English speaker preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills and problem solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines
