NACUS Operation Assistant Job Category
Department/Group:
NACUS (Customizing Center)
Location:
Pooler, GA
Primary Duties:
The purpose of the position of NACUS Operation Assistant is to support general operation of NACUS with NACUS manager. NACUS means customizing center of North America and the main role is placing order for each components of excavator such as Base M/C, Boom, Arm and Bucket to plant in South Korea and then making assembly schedules and managing production to make excavator ready to delivery condition.
1) Production Planning
- ① Making BOM of each models by using SAP ② Making Factory Order to HQ at Korea by using SAP & SCM ③ Making Purchase Order to HQ at Korea by using SAP & SCM ④ Making assembly plan and combination between Base M/C and Front Kit in NACUS.
- It’s necessary to know how to use SAP & SCM system according to NACUS process. So training for that system will be provided until you have mastered it.
- It’s necessary to communicate with sales department in USA and production department in Korea. So always must to do monitoring and coordination about each situation according to request from relevant departments (production option change, shipment date control, daily quantity of production control and so on)
2) Production Management
- Taking proper measures instantly for all of the problem in the middle of production with NACUS general manager (defect parts, missing parts, incorrect parts, performance problem of M/C, production shortage due to various reasons)
- Monitoring daily production status and discuss daily issues with NACUS general manager to solve problems and stabilize production status.
3) Improvement Activity
- It’s including all of the activities to increase efficiency and productivity of NACUS
- ① Setting up standard work (making standard work procedure sheet, standardize work sequence and location of parts/tools/other subsidiary materials and layout map of work space and so on)
- ② Increasing productivitiy (production optimization, waste elimination, cost reduction, increasing production capability, reduce production lead time and so on)
- ③ Quality improvement (improving parts quality, improving assembly process quality, guarantee excellent performance of M/C, reliable inspection method, good appearance quality and so on)
Responsibilities:
Requires understanding of company policies and procedures and All work must be conducted in accordance with company standards and policies.
Efforts are required to continuously develop one's work skills.
This position is for new business project of HCEA, so it needs positive attitude about changes and Challenges in order to set up standards of each new process.
Must continuously produce relevant manuals for the tasks in charge of.
Any problems found should be reported immediately.
Actively cooperate with requests for assistance from another subsidiary and HQ.
Requires a strong working understanding of systems and resources used in departmental operations and the ability to see through daily work situations and determine what resources are necessary to resolve them in an efficient and appropriate manner.
Works in close unison with and full cooperation with the Departmental Manager in all circumstances and provides a unified leadership with the Departmental Manager for the department.
Other duties:
This position will communicate with persons in charge of subcontractor frequently. Many production resources such as work space, parts storage area, assembly shop, facility, workers belong to subcontractor. So when something problems happen, it needs effort to solve problems in cooperation with persons in charge of subcontractor.
This position will be involved in monthly production achievement rate, quality index and cost reduction rate per unit production.
This position will provide cooperation with departments in Atlanta office such as sales, customer service, financing and so on and coordinate all efforts within the overall marketing strategy of the company.
An intimate knowledge of all phases and components of the NACUS Operation is required as well as being continually aware of any changes to operations, policies, procedures, or processes.
