Production Engineer (Korean Bilingual Preferred)

Adairsville, GA

Description

Position Summary: Providing support and management of product quality and manufacturing processes in order to identify cost reduction strategies as well as to modify or consolidate tasks and processes. The preparation of estimated costs and progression of production processes while monitoring inventory, stability, and quality of raw materials.

Role Description:

· The management of processes involving, but not limited to, product quality, reduction of cost via consolidation and modification, management of quality control procedures and inventory, and monitoring SAP system.

1. Responsibilities:

· Optimize manufacturing process and product quality

· Identify ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems)

· Devise and manage quality control procedures

· Management of raw material stability and quality

· Prepare estimate of production costs and production progress reports for management

· Monitor and update SAP/MES/WMS system

· Monitor inventory status and manage monthly inventory inspections

· Exchange knowledge and information with other Company facilities to ensure best practices.

· Perform monthly closing (inventory check, production KPI analysis, and etc.)

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications: Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position:

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Proven proficiency in basic math with reading and writing in English is required
• A combination of relevant education and experience can be considered in lieu of exact education and/or experience requirements.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.

Salary Range:
