ROLE OVERVIEW
Human Resources (HR) Associate is responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. They may handle tasks such as conducting interviews, onboarding new employees, managing personnel records, and addressing employee inquiries. Additionally, HR specialists play a key role in ensuring workplace policies and procedures align with regulations and company standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with company goals.
· Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring the company attracts and hires top talent.
· Assist w/ employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
· Support training and development initiatives, including onboarding, leadership development, and employee engagement programs.
· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws to minimize legal risks.
· Collaborate with external legal counsel on labor law matters when necessary.
· Handle general affairs, including office administration, facility management, event coordination, vendor relations, and workplace safety.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
·At least 1-3 years of HR and general affairs experience.
· Fluency in Korean and English (written and verbal) is required.
· Knowledge of federal and NJ/NY state labor laws and HR best practices.
· Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
· Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and promote a positive workplace culture.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
