주요 업무

MES 시스템 설계 및 구성:

• 제조 공정 요구 사항과 비즈니스 목표에 맞는 MES 솔루션을 설계하기 위해 다기능 팀과 협업

• 프로세스 워크플로우, 데이터 수집, 보고 기능 등을 포함하여 제조 요구 사항에 맞게 MES 소프트웨어를 구성 및 커스터마이징

• MES 시스템의 정확성과 신뢰성을 보장하기 위한 테스트 및 검증 수행

시스템 구현 및 통합:

• 제조 시설 내 MES 시스템 구현 및 배포 지원, 프로젝트 팀과 협력하여 일정과 예산 내 성공적 완료 보장

• 공급업체 및 계약자를 포함한 내부 및 외부 이해관계자와 협력하여 ERP, SCADA, PLC 등 다른 제조 시스템과의 MES 통합 지원

• 구현 및 통합 단계에서 발생하는 기술 문제에 대한 시스템 테스트 및 문제 해결 수행

시스템 유지 관리 및 지원:

• MES 시스템의 성능과 가용성을 모니터링하고, 다운타임 및 생산 운영 중단을 최소화하기 위해 문제를 사전에 식별 및 해결

• 엔드유저에게 기술 지원 제공, 시스템 오류 해결 및 MES 기능 사용법 안내

• IT 팀과 협력하여 시스템 업그레이드, 패치 및 보안 강화 관리

프로세스 개선 및 최적화:

• 제조 공정, 데이터 및 워크플로우를 분석하여 MES 시스템을 사용한 프로세스 최적화 및 효율성 향상 기회 식별

• 수작업 자동화, 사이클 타임 단축, MES 기능을 통한 생산 워크플로우 향상 등 프로세스 개선을 위해 다기능 팀과 협력

• 데이터 분석 및 인사이트를 통해 지속적 개선 이니셔티브 지원

문서화 및 교육:

• 시스템 구성, 절차 및 문제 해결 가이드를 포함한 문서 작성 및 유지 관리

• MES 기능 사용법에 대한 교육 및 가이드 제공, 표준 운영 절차 준수를 보장

기본 자격 요건

• 학력: 컴퓨터 공학 또는 관련 분야 학사 학위 또는 이에 상응하는 경험

• 경력: MES 관리 2년 이상

• 제조 프로세스 및 관련 시스템(MES, ERP, SCADA, PLC)에 대한 깊은 이해

• MES 시스템 개선 및 사용자 요구 사항 개발 경험

• 데이터베이스 관리 및 성능 최적화(SQL, MS-SQL 또는 유사 DB) 지식

• 최소 하나 이상의 프로그래밍 언어(C#.NET, Java 등)에 능숙

• 자동화 장비 통합을 위한 MES 인터페이스 설계 및 개발 경험

• MES 성능 평가 및 프로세스 개선을 위한 분석 능력

• 다수의 프로젝트를 관리하고 일정에 맞춰 우선순위를 정하는 능력

Job Summary

The MES Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) within our manufacturing facilities. You will analyze production processes, configure MES software, and provide technical expertise to optimize manufacturing operations. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MES software and related technologies.

Responsibilities

MES System Design and Configuration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design MES solutions that align with manufacturing process requirements and business objectives.

• Configure and customize MES software to meet specific manufacturing needs, including process workflows, data collection, and reporting functionalities.

• Perform testing and validation of MES systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.

System Implementation and Integration:

• Support the implementation and deployment of MES systems within manufacturing facilities, working with project teams to ensure successful completion within schedules and budgets.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and contractors, to integrate MES systems with other manufacturing systems such as ERP, SCADA, and PLCs.

• Perform system testing and troubleshooting during implementation and integration phases to resolve technical issues.

System Maintenance and Support:

• Monitor the performance and availability of MES systems, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime and production interruptions.

• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot system errors, and guide them in utilizing MES functionalities.

• Collaborate with IT teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.

Process Improvement and Optimization:

• Analyze manufacturing processes, data, and workflows to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements through the MES system.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements, including automating manual tasks, reducing cycle times, and enhancing production workflows using MES functionalities.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing data analysis and insights to drive informed decision-making.

Documentation and Training:

• Create and maintain documentation, including system configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

• Provide training and guidance to end-users on MES functionalities, ensuring proper system usage and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

• Experience: 2+ years of MES management

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and related systems (MES, ERP, SCADA, PLC)

• Experience in MES system improvement and development of user requirements

• Knowledge of database management and performance optimization (SQL, MS-SQL, or similar)

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C#.NET, Java)

• Experience in designing and developing MES interfaces for automated equipment integration

• Strong analytical skills to assess MES performance and drive process improvements

• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams

• Bilingual (English and Korean)

• Experience optimizing system and database performance in large-scale MES environments

• Knowledge of strategic, conceptual, and consultative process improvement approaches

• Leadership and people-management experience in a technical or manufacturing environment
