About the Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Position
We are looking for a personable, friendly, and energetic person to join our team. You will be the first impression for our patients and customers, and will be responsible for greeting each and every individual kindly and courteously.
About the Practice
You will be working with a fantastic team including 2 optometrists, and 4 staff members. We treat patients ranging from pediatrics (little kiddies) to geriatrics (65+year olds) and everything in between. Our doctors are all the best in the area, and we thrive off of the positive experience that each patient has: From the interaction at the front desk when they first walk in the door, to the time they spend in the exam chair, and then seeing you for all of their optical needs.
Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Roles and Responsibilities
●Scheduling appointments
●Verifying insurance plans
●Greeting patients and customers
●Stocking and Inventory
●Submitting insurance claims
●Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
●Answering phone calls

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour, negotiable with experience
Expected hours: 16 per week
