- Job Title: Equipment Manager

- Location: Georgia Production Facility (Dublin, GA)

- Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Equipment Manager to join our team at the new production facility in Georgia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operation of all production equipment. A background in the automotive manufacturing industry or related fields will be a significant advantage in this role.

- Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the maintenance and repair of all production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of failures.

Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure that equipment is available and functioning properly to meet production schedules.

Monitor equipment performance and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance their skills and performance.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts.

Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary parts and services for equipment maintenance and repair.

- Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment management or maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with experience in the automotive industry being a significant advantage.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in manufacturing equipment.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Proficient in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
