• Summary

The Janitorial Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. They work under the guidance of the Facility Management Manager to carry out janitorial tasks, conduct cleaning, and support janitorial improvement initiatives. Their primary responsibilities include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting cleaning issues, and conducting preventive maintenance activities. They respond promptly to cleaning requests and prioritize tasks to minimize disruption to facility operations. The Janitorial Supervisor also maintains accurate records of janitorial activities and collaborates with the Sub-con team to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Their dedication to maintaining a clean and functional environment contributes to the facility's overall success and supports the achievement of organizational objectives.

• Minimum Qualifications
  - Education: High school diploma or higher preferred.
  - 3~5 years of professional experience in live facility maintenance preferred.
  - Experience with Korean company/culture preferred.

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
 
  Knowledge
  - Cleaning Systems: Comprehensive understanding of cleaning systems, components, and equipment commonly found in facilities.
  - Cleaning Codes and Regulations: Knowledge of local, national, and industry cleaning codes and regulations to ensure compliance and safety in
      cleaning operations.
  - Cleaning Troubleshooting: Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools to efficiently identify and resolve cleaning issues.
  - Blueprint and Schematic Reading: Ability to read and interpret cleaning blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand cleaning
    connections and systems.
  - Cleaning Safety: Understanding of cleaning safety practices, including lockout/tagout procedures, grounding techniques, and proper handling of
      cleaning equipment.

• Skills
  - Cleaning Operations: Proficiency in managing and coordinating cleaning operations, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
  - Cleaning Testing and Measurement: Skill in using cleaning testing equipment, such as pH testers, to diagnose cleaning problems and measure
      cleanliness levels.
  - Cleaning Maintenance: Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks on cleaning systems and equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and
      inspecting components.
  - Safety Compliance: Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with cleaning systems and equipment to ensure personal safety and
      prevent cleaning hazards.
  - Documentation: Skill in maintaining accurate records of cleaning maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  - Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and PDF experience.

• Abilities
  - Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to identify cleaning issues, diagnose problems accurately, and ensure precise cleaning operations.
  - Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze cleaning systems, troubleshoot problems systematically, and determine the most appropriate solutions.
  - Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing priorities, and work conditions, and handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of productivity and
      quality.
  - Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with team members, contractors, and stakeholders, including explaining cleaning issues and
      providing clear instructions.

• Essential Functions
  - Assigning janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting their work to ensure that established standards are met.
  - Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed.
  - Taking inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management when supplies are depleted.
  - Assisting with the screening and hiring of new job applicants.
  - Providing training and guidance to janitorial staff.
  - Resolving conflicts between janitorial staff in an efficient manner.
  - Attending meetings and in-service training sessions as required.
  - Performing all janitorial duties necessary in instances of staff shortages.

• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: $70k ~ $80k
