3. 주요 업무 및 역할

- 고객 요구에 맞춘 HD Hyundai 로봇을 활용한 로봇 자동화 솔루션 개발 및 배포

- HD Hyundai 로봇 프로그래밍 및 시운전, PLC·비전 시스템·컨베이어·센서·안전 시스템 등 주변 장비와의 통합

- 영업 담당자 및 본사 엔지니어링 팀와 협력하여 고객 프로젝트에 대한 제안서 및 납품물 개발

- 고객 시설에서의 현장 로봇 설치, 시동, 테스트 및 문제 해결 수행

- HD Hyundai 로봇 및 솔루션의 원활한 도입과 운영을 위한 고객 및 파트너 기술 지원 및 교육 제공

- 로봇 프로그램, 배선도, 사용자 매뉴얼 등 종합 문서 작성

- 최적화된 로봇 활용을 위한 사이클 타임, 가반 하중, 작업 공간 등 응용 요건 분석

- 지속적인 개선 및 혁신에 기여하기 위해 최신 로봇 기술 및 트렌드 파악

4. 자격 요건 및 우대 사항

- 메카트로닉스, 로봇공학, 기계공학 또는 전기공학 관련 분야 학사 학위

- 로봇 응용 엔지니어링 및 로봇 프로그래밍 분야 최소 5년 이상의 경력 필수, 시스템 통합 경험 우대

- 로봇 프로그래밍 언어 및 티치 펜던트 숙련도 필수, Hyundai Robotics 소프트웨어 경험 우대

- PLC(Siemens, Allen-Bradley), 센서, HMI 등 산업 자동화 장치에 대한 경험 또는 이해

- 로봇 및 자동화 시스템 문제의 트러블슈팅 및 진단 능력

- 전기 회로도 해독 및 작성 능력, 기계 도면 능력 우대

- 고객 현장 출장 가능 여부

- 우수한 커뮤니케이션 능력 및 부서 간 협업 능력

- 로봇 시뮬레이션 툴 및 로봇 오프라인 프로그래밍 친숙도 우대

- 산업용 로봇 경험 우대

- CAD, MS Office 소프트웨어 활용 능력 우대

- 보고서 작성 및 분석 능력 우대

- Python, ROS 프로그래밍 지식 보유 시 우대

1. Job Overview

2. Location

- Full Time (Mon – Fri, 08:30 AM – 5:30 PM)

- Location: Duluth, GA

- Salary: Negotiable based on experience

3. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deploy robotic automation solutions using HD Hyundai Robots tailored to customer needs.

- Program and commission HD Hyundai Robots, integrating them with peripheral equipment such as PLCs, vision systems, conveyors, sensors and safety systems.

- Collaborate with sales representatives and Headquarters (Engineering) to develop proposals and deliverables for customer projects.

- Conduct on-site robot installation, start-up, testing, and troubleshooting at customer facilities.

- Provide technical support and training to customers and partners for smooth adoption and operation of HD Hyundai Robots and solutions.

- Create comprehensive documentation, including robot programs, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.

- Analyze application requirements including cycle time, payload, and workspace to ensure optimized robot utilization.

- Stay informed on the latest robotics technologies and trends to contribute to continuous improvement and innovation. 

4. Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in robotic application engineering and robot programming is required, with system integration experience preferred.

- Proficiency with robot programming languages and teach pendants, preferably Hyundai Robotics software.

- Experience with or understanding of industrial automation devices such as PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), sensors, HMIs.

- Strong skills in troubleshooting and diagnosing robotic and automation system issues.

- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. 

5. Preferred Skills

- Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics; mechanical drawing skills are preferred.

- Familiarity with robotic simulation tools and offline robot programming.

- Experience with industrial robots.

- Ability to use CAD, MS Office software.

- Skilled in generating and analyzing reports.

- Programming knowledge in Python, ROS is a plus.
