Job Title: Senior Application Developer (Tech Lead)
Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ
Duration: 1 Year

Requirements

• 10+ years of application development experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

• Extensive knowledge of Java development from design through production

• Deep knowledge of operating systems

• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mocha, Jest, Enzyme, XCTest, etc.)

• Strong understanding of Java and its ecosystem

• Solid knowledge of OOP patterns and concepts

• Familiarity with software design and architectural patterns

• Experience writing reusable Java libraries

• Knowledge of Java concurrency patterns

• Understanding of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful web services

• Experience with frameworks such as Play and Spark

• Knowledge of Java GUI frameworks (Swing, SWT, AWT) as needed

• Strong understanding of Java class loading mechanisms

• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MS SQL, and others

• Understanding of scalable application design principles

• Ability to design database schemas that support business processes

• Basic knowledge of JVM internals, limitations, and optimizations

• Experience implementing automated testing platforms

• Strong knowledge of Git and version control

• Expertise in continuous integration

• Experience with JSP, Servlets, Struts, and Spring

• Knowledge of web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery

• Strong understanding of abstract classes, interfaces, collections, and generics

• Experience with multithreading, synchronization, and performance tuning

• Experience profiling and debugging Java-based applications

• Experience integrating with backend systems (ERP, WMS, OMS preferred)

• Strong performance optimization skills

• Experience in a similar role preferred

• Strong communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients
