Production Engineer

Our client, a major investor in energy solutions, has partnered with Timpl to recruit a Production Engineer who is responsible for engineering work that includes continuous improvement, investigating and troubleshooting equipment/manufacturing/facility problems, analyzing production results, implementing and improving manufacturing methods and processes, and ensuring high yield and productivity in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

Main Responsibilities:
– Production Performance Management
– Production Operation
– Quality Management
– Production Cost Management
– Work Environment/Safety Management

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or related), or similar
– Experience in continuous improvement or manufacturing in a highly automated and/or automotive engineering environment
– Experience with or knowledge of large production lines, PFMEAs, and process controls helpful but not required
– Knowledge of Time Studies, Line Balancing, Lean Manufacturing, Six sigma, Bottleneck Analysis helpful
– Must be authorized to work in the states without any sponsorship
