ROLE OVERVIEW

EBIN NEW YORK is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to join our financial management team. The ideal candidate will oversee financial transactions, analyze and maintain financial information, and ensure the accuracy of staff reports. Responsibilities include understanding and managing various financial operations such as debts, assets, payroll, and revenue analysis, as well as providing recommendations for improving accounting methods and processes. The Accounting Manager will guide the implementation of new financial initiatives, generate progress reports, and offer strategic suggestions to achieve financial goals. Effective communication skills are essential, as this role bridges the gap between staff and upper management, ensuring clear and effective communication across all levels.


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage monthly close, prepare and present monthly executive reports
• Manage the company’s financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assets
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and plan
• Planning, implementing and supervising the company’s financial strategy
• Manage and support the company’s financial reviews and audits
• Maintain proper accounting guidelines and procedures
• Monitor daily financial transactions
• Provide recommendations to internal business stakeholders
• Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by the executive management team


SUPERVISION: Direct supervision at least (1) other team member.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5-7 years of work experience
• CPA certification preferred, not required
• Real Estate transaction experience
• Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor, Manager
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• Experience with financial statements and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Experience in implementing financial initiatives and process improvements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Diligence and accuracy
