We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional patient service and support within a chiropractic practice. You will assist the chiropractor in delivering care, ensuring that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, along with excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and ensure they feel welcome in the clinic.
• Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories and conducting preliminary assessments.
• Provide explanations of treatment plans and procedures to patients.
• Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Support the chiropractor during treatments, including assisting with adjustments when necessary.
• Educate patients on exercises, stretches, and wellness practices to enhance their recovery.
• Manage scheduling and coordinate appointments for follow-up visits.
• Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Strong patient service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for patients.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment.
• Understanding of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient assessments accurately.
• Familiarity with patient assessment techniques to support the chiropractor's evaluations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
