Position: PRODUCTION YIELD ENHANCEMENT MANAGER

Location: COVINGTON, GA

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for optimizing and improving the yield in manufacturing processes and supporting all of production activity to get better yield. 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Yield analysis 

- Conduct in-depth analysis of manufacturing processes to identify factors affecting yield.

- Utilize statistical methods and data analysis tools to interpret yield data and trends.

•Problem Identification and Resolution

- Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues, defects, and deviations in the manufacturing process.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of yield losses and implement corrective actions.

•Process Optimization

- Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall manufacturing processes and increase yield.

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize parameters, reduce defects, and improve product quality.

•Data-driven Decision Making

- Collect and analyze large datasets to make informed decisions related to yield improvement.

- Implement statistical process control (SPC) methodologies to monitor and control manufacturing processes.

•Collaboration

- Collaborate with design, process, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of yield improvement strategies.

- Implement statistical process control (SPC) methodologies to monitor and control manufacturing processes.

•Documentation and Reporting

- Maintain detailed records of yield-related data, analyses, and improvement strategies.

- Prepare and present reports on yield enhancement initiatives to management and relevant teams.

•Technology Evaluation

- Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies related to semiconductor manufacturing and yield enhancement.

- Evaluate and recommend the adoption of new tools or processes to improve yield.

•Training and Knowledge Sharing

- Provide training and guidance to production and engineering teams on yield-related best practices.

- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the organization.

•Production Supporting

- Support for Activities Related to Yield Improvement in Overall Production

- Support for Quality improvement activities including 8D Report regarding production.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

•Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

•Excellent data mining skills 

•Excellent statistical analyzing skills

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in English and Korean

QUALITIFICATIONS:

•Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

•Proficiency in using quality management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications.

•Strong background in semiconductor manufacturing processes including PKG substrate industrial.

•Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical methods

•Effective communication and collaboration skills

•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive informed decisions.

EDUCATION:

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field

EXPERIENCE:

•Over 5+ years of experience in semiconductor including PKG sub engineering.

•Experience with manufacturing or production processes

•Experience with data analysis tools

•Experience in Quality Department in Semiconductors and Automotive Industry
