Position Overview:

The Expedite Specialist is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products required for defense technology projects. This role involves close coordination with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to monitor and manage the supply chain, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to expedite the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:
 • Monitor and track the status of purchase orders and shipments to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components.
 • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues that may impact delivery schedules, such as production delays or quality concerns.
 • Communicate with internal teams, such as procurement, production, and project management, to provide updates on delivery timelines and potential
    risks.
 • Develop and implement strategies to expedite the procurement process, including negotiating expedited shipping terms, identifying alternative suppliers,
  and prioritizing critical orders.
 • Maintain accurate records of communication, order status, and delivery timelines for reporting and analysis purposes.
 • Work with logistics partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods.
 • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the expedite process.

Qualifications:
 • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and logistics operations.
 • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
 • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to expedite the procurement process.
 • Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office applications.
 • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.



º REQUIREMENTS
• Must be fluent in English
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, especially Microsoft Excel
• Must be eligible to work legally in the United States


º WORK HOURS
PART TIME (Schedule Negotiable at Interview)


º LOCATION
Suwanee, GA (Near Suwanee Town Center)
