Position: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Location: COVINGTON, GA

The Electrical Engineer performs scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs on all electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. The person hired in this position will also review maintenance schedules and adjust them as necessary to keep systems functioning at peak levels.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary.
• Repair Electrical Systems and act quickly to make on-the-spot repairs when electrical systems and machinery malfunction.
• Troubleshoot Malfunctions of any electrical system must make inspections, assess potential problems, and recommend changes or upgrades to electrical systems to increase productivity and functionality.
• Perform regular tests to new electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, both to spot potential problems and to ensure that systems are operating at their highest possible levels of functionality.
• To inspect, repair, replace, adjust, install, wire, and maintain electrical mechanical equipment in the plant. Make electrical mechanical repairs as required.
• Installation, operation, relocation, and maintenance of all electric system
• Provide regular scheduled electrical mechanical repair, installation, prevention, and inspection work.
• Implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
• Initiates and carries out projects to improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
• Tracks, analyzes, and improves key maintenance parameters, such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, downtime, etc.
• Environmental and Safety Compliance

REQUIREMENT:

• The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Requires a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum 7 years of experience in semiconductor or similar industry.
• Design electrical & electronic control and communication systems for utility system and production equipment
• Experience in troubleshooting, monitoring, and electric maintenance and repair

EDUCATION:

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in facilities/plant engineering is a plus.
• Experience with integrated drives with PLC control
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC and similar PLC
