Loan Officer/OfficerTrainee

Job responsibilities:
- Increases loan portfolio by developing business contacts
- Attracting loan customers; completing loan processing, underwriting and closing

Loan Officer Job Duties:
- Communicate with customers and collect loan application and loan processing documents
- Analyze collected business and financial documents
- Site visitation of new and/or existing loans
- Complete underwriting for each loan for Loan Committee approval
- Collect required loan closing documents and coordinate loan closing with closing attorney
- Monitor existing loan accounts
  a) Collect annual financial documents and perform cash flow analysis
  b) Loan modification processing
  c) Loan renewal processing
  d) Past-due collection of delinquent loans

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience in banking and/or lending environment with basic knowledge of commercial loan preferred
- Experience and knowledge in SBA lending is a plus
- Study concentration in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred for a recent college grad
- Good organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications
- Preferred Bilingual English/Korean, English/Chinese, or English/Vietnamese

Loan Servicing Specialist

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be able to provide quality loan processing, reviewing files for adherence to underwriting standards and work in a teamwork environment to finish assigned duties timely.
• Banking industry and Fiserv system experience is preferred but not required.
• Language: Korean (Preferred), Chinese (Preferred), Vietnamese (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities:
• Generate and mail monthly loan billing notices & statements
• Review loan documents and process new loan bookings in Fiserv system for commercial & SBA 7a loans
• Process loan closing items such as loan disbursements, loan fees paid to third-party, recorded deed, UCC search & filing, and title updates
• Manage mortgage loan escrow account, including balancing account and processing tax & insurance payments
• Provide follow-up review of loan documents to clear exceptions (financial statements, tax returns, hazard insurance, UCC financing statement, title insurance policies, recorded documents)
• Maintain collateral items such as UCC continuation and follow up on all outstanding insurance
• Process loan payoffs and release of collateral for all paid-off loans
• Generate loan related reports including weekly FR2644 Report, monthly 1502 report for SBA 7a & PPP loans
• Process SBA loan sale to secondary market
• Reconcilement of loan related individual accounts with G/L
• Scanning of loan documentation and manage record retention
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve routine problems
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers
• Document preparation for regulatory examination
