We are seeking a medical assistant to perform clinical responsibilities in a fast-paced office setting. Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred, but willing to train new graduates with determination to succeed. Must possess a strong work ethic, friendly professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and be a fast learner. Flexibility, punctuality, dependability, and a team-oriented approach are essential.

We are seeking someone who is looking for long term commitment, as there is ample opportunity to grow with the practice.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Monitors schedule and organizes patient flow for physician office visits or in-office procedures
Accompanies patients to exam room, triages, collects patient history, and provides physical assessments as delegated by the providers
Scheduling and obtaining results for testing, procedures, and other services as ordered by the physician; interprets and accurately communicates results to physicians and patients as necessary
Performs or assists physician with in-office ancillary services, procedures, and specialty services
Manages patient charts to ensure clinical information is complete, including scanning forms into the EMR in a timely manner
Prepares charts in the EMR prior to the physician visit according to practice process
Performs upkeep for exam rooms with regards to sterilization and infection control, supplies, and equipment
Accurately provides or counsels patients and/or relatives with pertinent information regarding medical treatment or procedures
Answers emails and voicemails and returns patient calls in a timely and efficient manner
Abides by and promotes HIPAA compliance; maintains strictest confidentiality with regards to patient information
Cross trains and performs other office functions including check-in/check-out, scheduling, or other duties as directed
Qualifications:

College degree in the healthcare field is preferred and/or equivalent experience in a medical office/hospital setting.
Bilingual in Korean preferred but not required

업무에는 다음이 포함되지만 이에 국한되지 않습니다:

의사 사무실 방문 또는 진료실 내 절차에 대한 환자 흐름을 모니터링하고 일정을 구성합니다.
환자를 검사실까지 동행하고, 환자를 분류하고, 환자 병력을 수집하고, 의료진이 위임한 대로 신체 평가를 제공합니다.
의사의 지시에 따라 검사, 시술 및 기타 서비스에 대한 일정을 예약하고 결과를 얻고, 필요에 따라 결과를 해석하고 의사와 환자에게 정확하게 전달합니다.
진료실 내 보조 서비스, 절차 및 전문 서비스를 수행하거나 의사를 보조합니다.
적시에 EMR에 양식을 스캔하는 등 임상 정보가 완전한지 확인하기 위해 환자 차트를 관리합니다.
진료 프로세스에 따라 의사 방문 전에 EMR에서 차트를 준비합니다.
멸균 및 감염 관리, 소모품 및 장비와 관련하여 검사실 유지 관리를 수행합니다.

환자 및/또는 친척에게 치료 또는 시술에 관한 관련 정보를 정확하게 제공하거나 상담합니다.
이메일 및 음성 메일에 응답하고 환자의 전화에 적시에 효율적으로 응답합니다.
HIPAA 준수를 준수하고 홍보하며 환자 정보와 관련하여 가장 엄격한 기밀을 유지합니다.
지시에 따라 체크인 / 체크 아웃, 일정 또는 기타 업무를 포함한 기타 사무실 기능을 교차 교육하고 수행합니다.
자격 요건

의료 분야 대학 학위 소지자 및/또는 의료 사무실/병원 환경에서의 동등한 경력 보유자 우대.
한국어 이중 언어 구사 가능자 우대하나 필수는 아닙니다.
