Type of Job : Safety / Office Assistant / Project Engineer / Accounting


1. Safety

Job summary :
• Continuous inspection of project sites, to ensure a hazard-free environment
• Assessment and approval of subcontractor safety plans
• Verification of tools and equipment to ensure good quality
• Promoting safe practices on site
• Creating and enforcing safety guidelines and programs
• Carrying out drills and exercises on managing emergency situations
• Conducting investigations on accidents
• Verifying that all safety reports are submitted to related government institutions.
• Responding to workers’ safety concerns
• Manages all communications with government departments in regards of safety
• Arranges OSHA-mandated evaluations of the site
• Coordinates all issues regarding hazardous materials or waste
• Assisting with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan
• Attending project planning meetings and collaborating with construction managers
• Establishing and maintaining health and safety communication structures
• Testing effectiveness of site emergency response plans
• Continuous monitoring of all safety related documents, reports and issues to keep them updated.


2. Office Assistant

Job summary :
• Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
• Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance
• Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
• Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
• Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
• Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
• Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
• Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
• Assist colleagues whenever necessary


3. Project Engineer

Job summary :
• Contract Administration: Participate in selecting appropriate material, preparing documents, and making recommendations to the Project Manager on subcontractor selection using fair methods and practices. Participate in writing all subcontractor contracts and change order agreements for Project Manager's approval and signature.
• Coordinates with Program Management Office (PMO) staff, contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, consultants staff
• Manage field activities and implement engineering designs
• Assists in preparing written materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines
• Coordinates with Architects for timely and accurate responses to requests for information, submittals, Construction Change Documents, etc..
• Confirms contractor’s maintenance of record drawings prior to monthly progress payments to the Contractor
• Supports development of weekly/monthly status and photos reports for project team
• Participates in, and occasionally runs, design or construction meetings
• Makes field checks on construction, demolition, rehabilitation, alteration addition or repair projects to determine compliance with job specifications, plans,
• Resolve malfunctions or other crises when they arise
• Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment
• Supervise and direct onsite crew (e.g. technicians)
• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed


4. Accounting Specialist

Job summary :
• Perform day to day accounting functions such as AP and AR
• Prepares accounts receivable statements
• Create and process vendor payments
• Assist Accounting Manager in monthly general ledger closing and reconciliations
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Manages and supports the monthly close process
• Prepare and perform company’s license, permits
• Maintains record keeping, filing systems and processes daily mail
• Communicate with employees in multiple locations regarding orders and vendor requests
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Basic accounting knowledge is required.
• Experience in QuickBooks is a plus.


Qualifications :
• Proficiency at Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bi-lingual Korean and English
