The Facility Management Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall facility management operations. They are in charge of developing and implementing strategies for efficient facility utilization, maintenance, and improvement. This includes managing budgets, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and overseeing vendor contracts and relationships. The Facility Management Manager also plays a key role in space planning, overseeing security protocols, managing facility-related projects, and leading a team of facility staff. They are focused on optimizing facility performance, enhancing occupant experience, and maintaining a safe and functional environment for all stakeholders.

 

```Minimum Qualifications```
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related area.
- State-approved license preferred.
- Over 7 years of professional experience in facilities management of Plant preferred.
- Experience with Korean company/culture preferred.
- Experience in the Construction industry preferred.

 

```Knowledge, Skills and Abilities```
 

Knowledge
- Knowledge of facility maintenance principles and practices.
- Understanding of plumbing systems, electrical facilities, mechanical systems, air compressors, boilers, wastewater treatment, HVAC systems, fire protection systems, landscape and building facility repair, etc.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards in facility maintenance.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles related to facility maintenance operations.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance strategies and asset management principles.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

- Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively lead and supervise maintenance staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to identify and resolve facility maintenance issues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Solid technical skills to understand and oversee maintenance activities across various systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other relevant software for work order management, asset tracking, and reporting.
- Analytical skills to assess data and performance metrics to optimize maintenance strategies and resource allocation.

- Ability to plan and develop comprehensive facility maintenance plans and programs.
- Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and handle emergency situations efficiently.
