We are looking for an energetic and reliable Salon Administrator to run our daily operations. If you are a self-confident

The Salon Administrator is responsible and accountable for daily operations, keeping our services on time, maintaining high
levels of client satisfaction and keeping harmony among staff.
We have a great running salon, with wonderful customers, great staff, and a system that really works. We do need you to be
responsible for the day–to–day operations: Make sure everything continues to work smoothly at the Salon every day. We
(the owners) will work closely with you and support you where it is needed.
Responsibilities:
Administrative - General:
Open and/or close Salon timely during business hours (Tue – Sun, Monday off)
Manage Salon appointments effectively - answer phone/email/text to manage all reminders, cancellations &
reschedules professionally
Monitor stock levels and order salon products when necessary
Ensure that the Salon is clean and well-maintained at all times. Maintain tight control over cleaning and maintenance
services.
Promptly resolve issues in different Salon situations, fixing breakdowns, calling repair services, and ordering the
necessary equipment.
Administrative - Financial
Process client payments and maintain accurate financial records of client payments including cash transactions.
Assist in managing financial aspects. Perform basic housekeeping and accounting tasks including closing
daily/weekly books if needed
Customer Delight:
Keep a strong client base and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Must interact with clients in a friendly
way and engage them in conversations.
Intervene as needed to peacefully resolve controversial situations involving customers and/or stylists.
Seek customer feedback to assess opportunities for improvements with the management team
Sales/Marketing:
Assist with marketing activities as needed. Prepare and post content on social media networks like Instagram,
Facebook, etc, as directed.
Respond to customer comments and feedback on social media. Distribute promotional material to attract new
clients as directed
Provide consultative services on Salon services and products, and address all customer questions on products, services, and promotions. Drive to increase sales of in-store retail products
Team Work:
Assist Salon employees in scheduling their work, taking into account seasonality and peak times.
Create a friendly and positive atmosphere: effective communication and interpersonal skills is a must. Daily
reinforcement of our strong team environment!
Working with the stylists every day to empower them, assist them in their goals, and show them how valued they
are! Monitor the implementation of a personal KPI by each specialist.
Assist with training and onboarding of new employees
Assist with basic hair stylist prep activities like shampooing etc as time permits
Salon Manager Requirements and Qualifications
Bi-lingual language skills (Korean and English) required
A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule. Must be able to work weekends as availability guidelines require
Industry passion: Prior Salon and/or admin/management experience is preferred but not required
1 to 2 Years of retail/salon leadership experience is preferred but not required
Self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong leadership and team motivational skills.
Proficient in basic computer apps and social media platforms
