1. Assistant Operation Manager
Responsibilities and Role:
• Schedules routes and communicates with Field Technicians and Engineers regarding equipment installs, repair visits, other service calls and miscellaneous field duties
• Interfaces with and tasks Warehouse Technicians regarding daily warehouse duties, priorities and objectives
• Reviews operational metrics with technicians and engineers, that will affect daily planning and performance including service and customer satisfaction
• Works directly with Operations Coordinators to prioritize and assign upcoming tasks to available technicians based on region, urgency and other logistical considerations
• Regularly monitors output and efficiency of technicians, relaying to management any relevant observations and concerns
• Escalates unresolved issues relayed from the field to appropriate management
• Cross-trained for other roles in the department to provide coverage during absences (will get trained GC engineering as well)
Candidate Competencies:
• 0+ years of experience in: service-technician dispatch operations and freight/logistics account management
• Experience working with manufacturing & mechanical engineering is a plus
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanic, Logistics or a related area highly preferred
• Time management, organizational and multitasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced team environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals
• Software skills, including use Microsoft Office, inventory management applications and dispatch/scheduling programs (You will get trained)
• This position will require standard work hours. Dispatch and scheduling occurs with technicians based in all US time zones, with the majority currently based in California
