This is a full-time on-site position as a Dispatcher at NextGen Logistics Service located in LaGrange, GA.
The role involves day-to-day responsibilities such as ensuring the safety and coordination of transportation operations, monitoring driver compliance, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and team members.

주요업무
– Managing truck drivers’ schedules and routes
– Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
– Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
– Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries
– Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
– Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
– Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
– Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information
– Scheduling freight to be picked up and delivered
– Providing shipping details to customers
– Documenting all deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries
– Completing paperwork related to shipments, such as invoices
– Handling customer complaints and inquiries
– Ensure adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
– Review and verify driver logbooks for accuracy and compliance.
– Coordinate vehicle inspections and manage maintenance schedules to ensure road safety and compliance.
– Manage and optimize the Transportation Management System for effective operation tracking and reporting.
자격요건
– Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role is preferred.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
– Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
