Full job description

Skills:

*Revit MEP – 3+ years
*Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) – 3+ years
*Construction Design
*AutoCAD – 2+ years
*Plant 3D – 3+ years
*Visual Code/Dynamo – 2+ years

Responsibilities:

*Work closely with field coordinators to improve quality of deliverables (Scanning, registering, modeling)
*Perform 3D modeling, meshing, and extractions of equipment, and infrastructure using VDC methods
*Read and understand construction documents (Specs, floor plans, elevation plans, etc.)
*Learn and assist team members through the use of a multitude of software’s.
*Develop methods of automation for schedule tracking
*Strong communication of possible road blocks, delays, issues
*Can perform work while using specified PPE typical construction site population
*Maintain QA/QC procedures to ensure consistency of quality
*Lead coordination meetings with various teams to deliver feedback and collaborate to find solutions to issues

Basic Qualifications:

*Associates degree or equivalent certificate
*3+ years’ experience in VDC with a strong base knowledge of construction layout, surveying, engineering drawings
*3+ years’ experience in Revit MEP (back-end, front-end, designing/modeling)
*2+ years of visual code development and integration

Preferred Skills and Experience:

*2+ years AutoCAD experience
*3+ years of Revit MEP experience
*3+ years of hands-on experience with LiDAR systems and associated applications
*Strong understanding of construction process
*Strong understanding of best VDC principles

Physical Requirements:

*This position is primarily in an office environment. However, field investigation of in-plant piping, civil, structural, or mechanical equipment requires the ability
 to don personnel protective equipment (PPE) such as flame-retardant clothing (FRC), hart hat, safety eyewear, safety footwear, fall protection harnesses or
 other specialty PPE. Ability to manipulate office materials and/or equipment and occasionally Lift, Hold/Carry 5-10lbs.

Required Physical Manipulation performed from:

*Ground to waist
*Waist level
*Waist to shoulder
*Above shoulder

Required Climbing Abilities:
*To move up or mount stairs and ladders by using the hands or feet as required including, a step stool ladder, 8’ to 10’ ladder, extension ladder and/or stairs of
 1-3 or more flights.

Required Ability to Stand, Sit, Walk:

*Frequency is occasional as required by job duties 9 plus hours per day.

Required ability to walk over terrain conditions:

*Flat
*Rough
*Frequency is occasional as required by job duties 9 plus hours per day.

Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, and/or Crawling:

*To bend forward or down from the middle of the waist or the middle of the back, to bend downwards, to lower oneself and/or to move freely on hands and
 knees as required by job duties 9 plus hours per day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
