1. Accounting Assistant

Location: Duluth, GA

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Support:
  • Perform data entry and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Process employee expense reimbursements and petty cash transactions.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
  • Prepare financial documentation and assist with audit requests.
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems.
  • Monitor and report on outstanding balances and overdue accounts.
    
• Administrative Support:
  • Coordinate with internal departments to obtain supporting documents.
  • Assist in maintaining vendor and customer records.
  • Support ad hoc projects and reporting as needed by the accounting team.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation.
  • Process employee expense reimbursements and petty cash.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting support.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and office procedures.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
