Summary

The Administrator at KAM (Key Account Management) Sales and Operations requires a strong understanding of various business functions within the company's freight forwarding services by supporting the senior team in identifying business opportunities, managing customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and ability to be strategical to bring new and innovative ideas. This role offers an responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supporting business planning objectives by maintaining close communication with business units, researching different industries and trends to cultivating new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Accomplish top management goals / strategy by competing related results as needed
    • Set up Ops work in alignment with ales work before Ops starts
    • Accomplish summary of data and trends through research, collection, and analysis of the latest market research
    • Process Improvement, pricing: Market Pricing review, Client list development
    • Sustain report with key accounts by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs, and anticipating new opportunities
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring regular communication and providing assistance with their logistics and transportation needs
    • Assist in onboarding new clients by understanding their requirements, providing solutions, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
    • Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, reviewing market rate & gathering so that upper management can analyze & develop a new client
    • Strategic Alignment with Clients (Clients in the US, and Headquarters)
    • Acting as a liaison between related parties to understand and execute the global business strategy at the local level
    • Provide regular updates and reports on market trends, customer needs, and business performance to ensure alignment with corporate objectives
    • Act as the liaison between the local branch and headquarters, facilitating smooth communication and strategy implementation
  • Reporting and Documentation
    • Improve product marketability and profitability by accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development progress
    • Supervise in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance summaries for senior management
    • Collaboration with Operations and Finance
    • Cooperate closely with the operations and finance teams to ensure that services are provided efficiently and that financial goals are met
    • Coordinate with related parties to supervise complete audits, and adapt corporate policy changes

Compensation

$60,000-$75,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Request Upon Candidate Selected)

Skills

  • Intermediate-level MS Excel, Power Point, Word and Database Management Required
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking ability required
  • General Understanding of Supply Chain Management and the Logistics Industry Required
  • Understanding of the Full Range of Freight Forwarding Services, including movement, scheduling, monitoring and control services, cost optimization, and various industry specific requirements Required 
  • Able to establish business plan and proceed new business developments and projects Required 
  • Must be proficient with PC's Required

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 2+ years of direct experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and/or Accounting/Finance Required
  • 4+ years of direct experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and/or Accounting/Finance Preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
  • Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
  • Stand/walk
