POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for gathering, verifying, and processing all necessary documentation required for the approval of mortgage loan applications.  This role involves close coordination with loan officers, underwriters, closing agents, and borrowers to ensure that all aspects of the loan file are complete and compliant with banking regulations and policies. The processor must ensure that all information is accurate, timely and meets the bank’s guidelines to facilitate a smooth and efficient loan approval process.

Qualifications:
• Work Experience: 3+ years’ experience with a mortgage company, mortgage banker, or mortgage lender as a mortgage loan processor is needed.
• Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Language: Korean (Preferred), Chinese (Preferred), Vietnamese (Preferred)
Knowledge:
• Understanding of Mortgage Lending; Knowledge of different types of loans, mortgage laws, and regulations (e.g., RESPA, TILA).
• Compliance and Regulations: Familiarity with federal and state regulations governing mortgage lending.
• Financial Documentation: Ability to analyze financial statements, credit reports and other relevant documents.

Skills:
• Attention to Detail: Precision in handling documentation and identifying discrepancies.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Clear communication with clients, loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of all loan truncations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with mortgage processing software and general office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, and Excel)
• Customer Service Skills; Providing excellent service to clients/stakeholders throughout the loan process.
