JOB SUMMARY

The Physical Security Specialist provides expertise in physical security solutions dedicated to protecting information, facilities, and assets. It also designs, implements, and manages comprehensive security measures to protect the company's interests. Along with physical systems, the Physical Security Specialist manages Security Guardians to ensure the safety and protection of the company's employees and visitors, providing training to minimize risks from security incidents and improve response levels to ensure smooth business performance.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct security assessments and audits of the entire facility to identify vulnerabilities and develop security strategies

• Design and implement physical security measures including access control systems, surveillance cameras, boundary fences and intrusion detection systems

• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and emergency response plans based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements

• Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure timely installation and maintenance of security equipment and systems

• Respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner, such as monitoring security alerts, conducting investigations, and reporting results to administrators

• Training employees on security protocols, emergency procedures and risk awareness

• Continuously improve security and adapt to changing situations by continuously providing information about emerging threats and security technologies

• Provide expert guidance and support to customers on security-related matters such as encouraging increased security and addressing concerns

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to design physical security systems

• Security policies and understanding based on experience and examples of similar industries

• Ability to troubleshoot security breaches and incidents

• Knowledge of security operations, risk management, and technology integration

QUALITIFICATIONS:

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

• Security Experience in Semiconductor and National Infrastructure Manufacturing

• Knowledge of security principles, practices and technologies, including access control, video surveillance and alarm systems

• Certified Protection Specialist (CPP), Certified Physical Security Specialist (PSP) or Certified Security Consultant (CSC) Certificate (Preferred)

• Skilled or experienced in security management software

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments with a strong commitment to asset protection and confidentiality

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in security management or related fields

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience in physical security
